• Live camera images (a selfie or face image) captured during identity verification to confirm that the person creating the account matches the identity document provided.
• Where a quiz or examination is proctored, video and audio recorded from your device camera and microphone for the duration of that examination, together with related signals such as ambient sound levels detected in your surroundings.
• We request camera, photo library and microphone permission only at the point where the relevant feature is used, and only after you choose to use it. You may decline, and you may withdraw permission at any time in your device or browser settings; some verification or examination features will not function without it.

1.5 Identity Documents and Biometric Information :

• Identity and age-proof documents you upload for verification, such as PAN card, Aadhaar card (front and back), and passport (front and back), along with the document numbers, names, dates of birth and addresses recorded on them.
• Facial images processed to verify your identity against your submitted document, and to detect during a proctored examination whether a face is present and whether more than one person is visible. These constitute sensitive personal data and biometric information under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and are collected only with your consent and only for the verification and examination-integrity purposes described in this Policy.
• We do not use facial images for advertising, profiling, or any form of surveillance outside a proctored examination, and we do not sell them.

• Cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience, such as remembering preferences and tracking user activity.

2.4 Identity and Age Verification :

• Use the documents and facial images described in Sections 1.4 and 1.5 to confirm your identity, confirm that you meet the age and eligibility criteria for the show, and prevent duplicate or fraudulent registrations. Verification may be carried out through DigiLocker, the Government of India's digital document service, where you choose that route.

2.5 Examination Integrity (Proctoring) :

• Where a quiz or examination is proctored, use the recorded video, audio and facial-presence checks solely to detect and review conduct that breaches examination rules — for example another person appearing on camera, the participant leaving the examination, or sustained conversation in the room — and to review any resulting dispute or appeal. Proctoring is active only while an examination is in progress and stops when it ends.

2.6 Compliance and Legal Obligations :

• Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and security requirements, including the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

3.1 Service Providers :

• With trusted third-party vendors to process payments, deliver merchandise, and support website and app operations.

3.2 Legal Requirements :

• When required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

3.3 Business Transfers :

• In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the business.

3.4 Verification and Cloud Storage Providers :

• Identity documents and facial images are shared with the verification services required to check them, including DigiLocker (Government of India) where you choose Aadhaar-based verification.
• Proctoring recordings are stored in Microsoft Azure cloud storage under our control. These providers act on our instructions as processors, may not use the data for their own purposes, and are bound to protect it.
• We do not share camera, photograph, microphone or biometric data with partners, sponsors, advertisers, or data brokers.

3.5 Partners and Sponsors :

• We may share your information with our partners and sponsors for promotional purposes or to facilitate show-related activities, subject to your consent when required. This does not include the camera, photograph, microphone or biometric data described in Sections 1.4 and 1.5.

4.1 Encryption :

• Secure payment gateways and encrypted data transmission.

4.2 Access Controls :

• Limited access to personal data to authorized personnel only.

5.1 Proctoring Recordings :

• Video and audio recorded during a proctored examination are retained only for as long as required to review the integrity of that examination and to resolve any dispute or appeal arising from it, after which they are deleted.

5.2 Identity Documents and Facial Images :

• Identity documents and the facial image used to verify them are retained for as long as your account remains active and for such further period as we are required to keep verification records under applicable law, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

5.3 Photographs You Submit :

• Your profile picture is retained until you replace or remove it, or until your account is deleted. Photographs submitted with a return or replacement request are retained until that request and any related warranty or refund period has concluded.

5.4 Deletion of Your Account :

• If you delete your account, the data described above is deleted along with it, except where we are required by law to retain specific records for a longer period.

6.1 Access and Correction:

• Request access to your personal data or corrections to inaccurate information.

6.2 Data Deletion :

• Request the deletion of your personal data, subject to legal obligations (e.g., under the Information Technology Act, 2000).

Please note that withdrawing consent will prevent you from completing identity verification or taking part in a proctored examination.

• Our website and app may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies before engaging with them.

• Our website and app are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover such data has been provided, we will delete it promptly.
